THE ORIGIN
Established in Byron Bay, Curaters is the collective vision of Award Winning Interior Designer Alysha Downes and Executive Chef Martin Dulke. The concept was born over coffee, sparked by a conversation about the changing needs of the region we call home. We realized there was a niche in the market—a gap between standard property management and true, high-end hospitality. We saw a growing desire among homeowners not just for maintenance, but for a service that would genuinely make life easier, blending logistical support with an appreciation for beautiful living.

From that initial spark, Curaters emerged as a thoughtfully curated service designed to elevate the everyday. We believe that a home should be a sanctuary, but maintaining that "domestic serenity" often requires time and effort that busy lifestyles don't allow. Our mission became clear: to offer an all-encompassing home service that restores order and beauty to your environment. We bring two very different, yet complementary, skill sets to your home. Alysha’s background in Interior Design ensures that every space is treated with an eye for aesthetics, flow, and detail. Martin’s expertise as an Executive Chef brings a level of discipline, sensory awareness, and service excellence found in the world’s best kitchens. Together, we combine these passions to allow our clients to enjoy beautiful spaces and memorable experiences. We handle the background noise so you have the luxury of time—and the freedom to simply be present.
